Learn by Doing. Lead by Knowing.
AMIST offers training programs that combine technical skill-building with practical experience in advanced manufacturing.
Educational programs that bring additive manufacturing to life.
Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, RAMPS expands access to robotics and additive manufacturing training. Designed for K–12, graduates, and university students, the program introduces future workers to advanced technologies while preparing them for high-demand careers.
AMIST summer camps give students hands-on experience in 3D printing, robotics, and advanced manufacturing. These immersive programs spark creativity, build technical skills, and inspire the next generation of innovators.
Through the Speed School’s co-op program, students gain real-world experience working alongside AMIST researchers and industry partners. These opportunities allow students to apply classroom knowledge, build professional skills, and contribute to projects at the forefront of additive manufacturing and advanced technologies.
The REU program at the University of Louisville offers undergraduate students hands-on summer research opportunities in areas such as computer science, micro/nano manufacturing, and materials modeling. Supported by the National Science Foundation, the program allows students to work alongside faculty mentors, gain valuable laboratory experience, and explore potential career paths in advanced research and engineering.
