2025-26 Annual Theme: Being Human in the AI Era

This year’s theme will explore the promises and perils of generative AI, and how humanists are essential for such explorations. While public discourse often frames AI in exaggerated, euphoric or dystopian terms, humanists bring essential tools — context, critique, creativity and ethics — to help us better understand and shape this rapidly evolving landscape.
