Improving heart health and recovery

The Institute of Molecular Cardiology pioneers research to repair the damage caused by heart attacks and to improve recovery for patients. Our focus is on developing novel cell therapies for heart failure caused either by heart attacks or by other diseases. Our research has helped us understand the mechanism of this damage and has advanced many promising treatments toward approval for patients through clinical trials in people with heart failure.
