Research is Rising. This Clinical Trials Day (May 20), we celebrate the professionals at the University of Louisville and beyond who transform clinical inquiry into life-saving discovery.

  • Interactive Lobby Stations: Engage with the CEO Core, CRII & the UofL Custom Wireless & Electronics Laboratory (wearable device interactive display booth), as well as a variety of activity booths related to our Research Rising theme
  • Leadership Panel: Insights from university and hospital leadership on the current and future state of research in their respective areas. 
  • Patient Hero Keynote featuring Perris Jones: Perris Jones is a former University of Virginia football player who gained attention for his remarkable recovery after sustaining a spinal injury during a game against the University of Louisville in November 2023. Jones tells an incredibly inspiring true story about his recovery under Dr. Maxwell Boakye's care at KSIRC.
