Grants to UofL provide research into connections between green environment and human health

On August 2, 2018, UofL announced a five-year, $3 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to help fund the Green Heart project. The university also announced a $2 million grant from The Nature Conservancy to support the endeavor.

Center Member Shao-Yu Chen was appointed as a regular member of the NIH Center for Scientific Review, Neurotoxicology and Alcohol Study Section. His four year term began July 1, 2019.
UofL e-cigarette research shows harm to health
