Travel Award applications for the SOT meeting March 22-25, 2026 must be received by 01/31/2026. No travel award applications for SOT will be considered after this date.
Travel awards for up to $500 are available for Students and Post-Docs of CIEHS members to travel to a national or international conference to present an abstract (poster or oral) reporting Environmental Health Research. Travel awardees agree to acknowledge support from the NIEHS in their oral presentation/poster using the following statement: “Research reported in this oral presentation/poster was supported by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences of the National Institutes of Health under Award Number P30ES030283. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the National Institutes of Health.” Students and Post-Docs are permitted to receive one travel award per grant fiscal year (4/1-3/31). The travel award program is open to all eligible students of CIEHS members regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, or age. In order to apply for a travel award, please complete the travel award request form at the link below and attach the abstract and the abstract acceptance letter.
You will receive an email copy of the completed application as verification of submission within 24 hours. If you do not receive this verification, please contact CIEHS immediately.
Funding will be competitive and reviewed by the CIEHS Executive Committee who will determine if the travel award request is to be funded. Applications must be received a minimum of 6 weeks prior to travel date. Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for travel awards offered by the meeting and through other available opportunities.
