2023 LoDI-Logility Logistics & Supply Chain Case Study

Students at Elkhorn Crossing School in Georgetown, Kentucky, gained hands-on experience with logistics and supply chain through a case study co-developed by the LoDI and Logility, a leading supply chain software company. Students learn about logistics concepts and analytical tools in their engineering technology class and explore it as a potential career path. In the Spring of 2023, they worked on a case study using Logility's network design tool to optimize the delivery of automobile parts nationwide. They integrated their mathematics, geography, systems thinking, and business principles knowledge with supply chain tools to make practical recommendations.
