February 5, 2026
The Early Childhood Research Center is excited to share that Dr. Jon Lee has been invited to serve as a keynote speaker and workshop leader at the 2026 Early Childhood Special Education State Meeting hosted by the Colorado Department of Education in Denver.
Small shifts in how we communicate can make a big difference in how people grow.
Dr. Lee’s sessions focus on Motivational Interviewing and its role in building strong, respectful relationships that support change. Moving from big-picture ideas to practical, real-world tools, his work highlights how thoughtful conversations, rooted in partnership, compassion, and clarity, can have a lasting impact on educators, leaders, and the early childhood systems they support.
This invitation speaks to the growing reach of Dr. Lee’s work and the broader connections the ECRC continues to build across states and disciplines. As those relationships expand, so does the Center’s impact, helping shape approaches to early childhood and special education that are grounded in connection, intention, and meaningful change.
