KEEP program prepares next generation of environmental health researchers
August 21, 2026The NIEHS-funded Kentucky Environmental Education Pipeline (KEEP) recently completed its 10-week undergraduate summer research program at UofL, with nine students presenting their environmental health sciences research. KEEP provides undergraduates with hands-on research experience through paid summer placements with mentors across UofL. The program is co-directed by CIEHS members Rachel Neal, Mikus Abolins-Abols and Cynthia Corbitt, who mentor and support students pursuing research in environmental health sciences. Congratulations to this year’s KEEP participants and top presenters!
