A new publication from the DuPré Lab, titled “Urinary Metabolites of 1,3-Butadiene, Benzene and Toluene and Colorectal Cancer Incidence: A Clinical Case–Control Study,” has been released, highlighting important findings related to environmental exposures and cancer risk. The study cites Luis Salazar Guzman, biorepository manager for CIEHS, reflecting the essential role of the CIEHS Biorepository in supporting high quality research.

This work demonstrates how the CIEHS Biorepository supports CIEHS members through the management and coordination of biological specimens, enabling analyses and advancing collaborative research across the Center.
