McConnell Scholar helps bring Bill Clinton to UofL
April 7, 2026John Weber, a junior McConnell Scholar from Louisville, will be part of the welcoming party this evening when former U.S. President Bill Clinton and Jack Conway, Kentucky attorney general and democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, arrive at the University of Louisville campus.
Clinton and Conway are expected to arrive at 6 p.m., Nov. 1, for a free, public talk on the university's Belknap Oval.
Weber is currently president of the university's College Democrats. As president of the Young Democrats Club at DuPont Manual High School (Louisville), Weber introduced Hillary Clinton as she sought the democratic nomination for president, as well as Chelsea Clinton.
