McConnell Scholar named second-in-command at student newspaper

McConnell Scholar Jacob Abrahamson (’17) has been named the assistant editor-in-chief of the Louisville Cardinal, the independent student newspaper at the University of Louisville. Abrahamson previously served as news editor.

Abrahamson is pursuing majors in history and political science at UofL, where he has been named an honors scholar. He is a member of the university’s undergraduate moot court team and serves as a representative with the Edward M. Kennedy’s Institute for the U.S. Senate. He is a 2013 graduate of South Warren High School in Bowling Green, Ky.
