McConnell Scholar John Weber named to food service's national student board of directors

Senior John Weber is one of two Kentuckians named to the Sodexo Student Board of Directors, a national forum that provides insight and feedback into what today's college student wants from campus dining. Only 23 students were selected to sit on the board.

Weber, from Louisville, Ky., has been heavily involved with campus dining at the University of Louisville. Last year, on behalf of the university's student government association, he provided feedback and suggestions on ways to improve campus dining. He was also involved with the opening of a new campus restaurant.

Weber is a political science and international business major at UofL. He is also chair of the McConnell Scholars Council.
