McConnell Scholars participate in national conference in D.C.

First-year McConnell Scholars Nicole Fielder, Claire Gothard, and Sidney Cobb are participating in the YMCA's College Youth in Government conference this week in Washington, D.C.

Fourth-year student Philip Moore is also participating in the event.

The College Youth in Government Program brings college students from across the country to model the federal policy-making process in the nation’s capital. Students from the University of Louisville, Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky are attending the national conference.
