Cate Brown, of Lagrange, Ky., is a member of the McConnell Scholar Class of 2030 at the University of Louisville. She studies political science.

High School

Cate Brown is a graduate of South Oldham High School, where she served as the Student Council Historian for the Senior Class and held a leadership position on her varsity cheerleading team. She was also a participant in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association, Quill & Scroll Society, Kentucky Student Technology Leadership Program and the National Honor Society. 

I am excited to join a cohort of scholars who are passionate and willing to create a community built on intellect and genuine friendship. I cannot wait to become both a Cardinal and a McConnell Scholar, and I welcome every experience that lies ahead!
