CIEHS members receive new academic appointments

Congratulations to the following CIEHS members, including Career Development Program members, who received new academic appointments in summer 2026!

• Jared Scott was promoted to assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, effective May 1.
• Mayukh Banerjee was promoted to associate professor with tenure in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, effective July 1.
• Alexandra Nail was promoted to assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, effective July 1.
• Belinda Petri was promoted to assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, effective July 1.
• Clara Sears was promoted to associate professor in the Department of Environmental Medicine, effective July 1.
• Walter “Bert” Watson was promoted to professor in the Department of Medicine’s Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, effective July 1.
