Youth Exchange Session with Jamie Young Wise

Guest speaker, Dr. Jamie Young Wise from the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology at the University of Louisville, joined the CIEHS Community Engagement Core to engage youth in environmental health with her presentation titled "Nothing Lasts Forever...Except PFAS: Reducing Your Exposure to "Forever Chemicals"". Dr. Young Wise spoke about the impact PFAS have on environmental health and her journey to becoming a scientist. Young emphasizes not only the impact on environmental health, but the impact PFAS have on individual health.


Youth Exchange Session with Rachel Keith

Guest speaker, Dr. Rachel Keith from the Division of Environmental Medicine at the University of Louisville, joined the CIEHS Community Engagement Core to engage youth in environmental health with her presentation entitled "E-cigarettes and youth-safety first". Dr. Keith spoke about the impact e-cigarettes have on environmental health. Keith emphasizes not only the impact on environmental health, but the impact e-cigarettes have on individual health.
