Luke Taylor, of Owensboro, Ky., is a member of the McConnell Scholar Class of 2027 at the University of Louisville. He studies biology on a pre-dental track and minors in political science.

High School

Luke is a graduate of Daviess County High School, where he served as Student Body President, National Honor Society President, and President of the Kiwanis Service Club. He was also the Founder and Executive Director of the Daviess County raiseRED Dance Marathon, member of the Kentucky Commissioner of Education's Student Advisory Council, and member of the Wendell H. Ford Statesmanship Academy. Luke is the son of Dr. Brandon and Kim Taylor and an alumnus of the Governor's Scholars Program and McConnell Center's Young Leaders Academy.
