During the dinner with the current scholars portion of the interview process in March, getting the chance to mingle with so many knowledgeable students was absolutely amazing. Being able to discuss books and writing while playing trivia allowed me to recognize how much I need a community like the McConnell Scholars Program creates. I firmly believe that knowledge is one of mankind's biggest privileges, and I am grateful to be able to continue learning about complex topics from my peers and current scholars.
