Interprofessional Model for Practice, Age-Friendly Care and Teamwork
Interprofessional Model for Practice, Age-Friendly Care and Teamwork (IMPACT 4Ms) is a one-day immersive event that offers learning and skill-building for professionals dedicated to improving the lives of older adults.
This retreat is designed to help health care professionals, students and community workers gain essential knowledge and leadership skills for working with older adults. This event encourages collaboration across different specialties, helping participants see firsthand how working together can make a real difference in geriatrics.

What to expect
Participants work in interprofessional groups to explore a case study centered around the 4Ms of Age-Friendly Health Systems.
The 4Ms: What Matters Most, Medication, Mentation and Mobility
Each module includes:
- Evidence-based mini-lectures on geriatrics and palliative care
- Interactive exercises and team-building activities
