Trauma-Informed FlourishCare Internship Program

The Trauma-Informed Integrated FlourishCare (TI-IFC) Internship at the UofL Trager Institute trains students to provide trauma-informed behavioral healthcare in primary care settings, with a focus on rural and underserved Kentucky communities. Interns gain hands-on experience through the TeleHub, supporting people at risk of mental illness or substance use with tele-assessments, brief interventions, and referrals. The program also prepares students in integrated primary care behavioral health (PCBH), equipping them for collaborative, team-based careers.
