Free Legal Services for Your Long-Term Well-Being

The Trager Institute and the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville have partnered to offer free estate planning legal services to underserved clients. Staffed by Brandeis law students and supervised by a licensed attorney, the Elder Law Clinic helps prepare simple wills, living wills, and power of attorney and health care surrogate documents. 

Eligibility

To qualify for these services, your income must be at or below 2.5 times the federal poverty level.

What You Can Expect

The elder law clinic team works with you to develop a plan that ensures your wishes are honored if you face a serious illness.

  • Comprehensive Health Risk Assessment: Identify the legal support you need for your health goals.
  • Advance Care Planning Documents: Work with our team to complete essential documents like wills and power of attorney to protect your rights.
  • Long-Term Planning: Develop plans to ensure your long-term health and well-being, including legacy planning.
