The Gold Standard of Optimal Aging Award Ceremony celebrates older adults, aged 85 years and over, who lead engaged and flourishing lives and inspire those around them with their zest for life. This is an Optimal Aging Month signature event organized each year by the UofL Trager Institute Republic Bank Foundation Optimal Aging Clinic to create an age-friendly culture in our community.

Our Gold Standard of Optimal Aging Award honorees will be celebrated at the beautiful Olmsted.

Nominating an older adult
Do you know someone aged 85 or older who is thriving in their later years? Nominate them to be honored by their loved ones, friends, and community at the Gold Standard of Optimal Aging Award Ceremony.
The nomination period for the 2026 award ceremony will open next spring.
