We understand how important caregivers are in supporting older adults. Our caregiver program is here to make your journey easier by providing resources, support, and connections to others facing similar challenges.
Eligibility
- You are a family member or friend caring for someone who is 60 or older, or
- You are caring for someone of any age with a dementia or Alzheimer’s diagnosis
Our services are funded by the Kentuckiana Regional Planning and Development Agency (KIPDA) and are available only to residents of the following counties:
- Bullitt
- Shelby
- Oldham
- Henry
- Trimble
- Spencer
- Jefferson
If you meet one of the above criteria and live in one of these counties, you’re eligible for our caregiver support programs.
Please note: caregivers of individuals living in assisted living facilities are not eligible.
What We Offer
Training
- Get helpful training and tips through workshops about caregivers' needs and concerns.
Support Groups
- Join a group led by professionals where you can meet and learn from others in similar situations.
- Hear others’ stories, share tips, and discover new resources.

Case Management
- Work with a case manager to get resources specifically suited to your needs or your loved one’s needs.
- Receive support to connect with the right services and care.
Counseling Services
- Find a safe, understanding space to talk about the challenges or stress of caregiving.
